When to Dive into God's Word

While looking through a favorite website of mine, they asked a question; "When do you like to dive into God's Word?" And when answering that question, to see how differently everybody likes to dive in is cool! Some people like to read before bed, while others like to dive in during their day! I personally like to read my devotions right before bed, so nothing is begging my attention and I can give my complete attention to God. But now I wanna ask, When do YOU like to dive into God's word? Before bed when you've wound down and can focus better? During a tough situation, when you need God's guidance to make the best decision? Bright and early, when you've just waken up, to start your day off right? Which suits best for you? :)

It's the Little Things in Life...

I dunno how many people have had experiences like this. But, ever read a devotion the night before and see the exact devotion in action the next day? It's really cool when it happens!

Just last night, I was reading my devotion on how we sometimes feel so insignificant in life. And sometimes wonder "How could God care for one little person like me among the millions of people that live on this earth?" He shows us all the little things in this world that are small, but beautiful. Like the stars in the sky. They seem pretty tiny, huh? But every little star, is handcrafted by God. And each one, is beautiful when we sit back and look at them. Well, the next day, while still thinking about this devotion, I saw a flock of birds flying together among the autumn trees while on my way today. But, it wasn't just the "There and gone" ordinary flock of birds. The flock almost reminded you of a swarm of...bees. Ducking up and down, swarming about the trees. It was out of the ordinary, different, and absolutely beautiful. It's not every day you see things like that, and it's nice when you sit back and take a look at everything and admire it's beauty. The details, the texture, the immense amount of color. God thought of it all! And all these things are small, but when they're all put together, it makes a gorgeous picture of what God creates and who he is.

I love when lessons you've learned are shown to you right before your very eyes! It's really cool I think. Can any of you remember a time when something like this has happened to you?
